Summer Day Camp
Spend the summer at the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City and build memories for a lifetime! The Y offers an exciting variety of day camps throughout the metro.
The Y’s traditional summer day camp offers kids fun developmental experiences in a safe environment supervised by our well-trained staff. The Y’s core character values, caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, are the corner stones of all our programs. In addition, the Y adds a unique “developmental assets” approach to help children develop positive identities, social skills, leadership and conflict resolution. Campers will participate in a wide range of activities throughout the summer including:
- Swimming
- Arts & Crafts
- Literacy Initiatives
- Field Trips
- Sports and Recreation
- Character Development
- Group Games
- Daily Assemblies
Y camps comply with all local, state and federal laws and licensing requirements related to the summer day camp program. All sites are either licensed by the Department of Human Services or accredited by the American Camping Association.
