Bethany YMCA
The Bethany branch was organized in 1957 and the building opened in 1960. Additional construction occurred in 1970. The Bethany branch serves northwestern Oklahoma City: Bethany, Yukon, Mustang, Piedmont and Surrey Hills.
The Bethany Y has a strength and cardiovascular center, gymnasium, indoor pool, group exercise studio, locker rooms and a multipurpose room. The wellness center has STRIVE strength training equipment, treadmills, bicycles, stair climbers and elliptical trainers. A child watch center is available for short-term childcare for parents who are exercising. A wide variety of group exercise classes are held throughout the week, including land and water exercise.
Programs of the Bethany YMCA include summer day camp, afterschool programs at the Western Heights School District, youth sports, swim lessons, and a youth developmental swim league.
